SaskWater is doing maintenance on their waterlines beginning Tuesday, Nov. 20, therefore the Dundurn Rural Water Utility (DRWU) is on a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA).
If the Town “shuts off the tap” from the DRWU at 7 a.m. Nov. 20, we will NOT HAVE TO DECLARE a PDWA. We have enough water in our water reservoir to last 3 days if EVERYONE CONSERVES WATER.
In the event that we must turn the water on during those 3 days, you will be notified that we have had to declare a PDWA. If you don’t hear anything, that means we are able to continue to provide you with clean water during this period.
The Water Operator will be turning the PRESSURE DOWN to help with the water conservation. Don’t be concerned that your pressure may be lower for those 3 days. It is far better to conserve water than to have to boil it!
Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
